Yoga, Friends and Spiced Pumpkin Bread!

Last night I made THE BEST Spiced Pumpkin Bread! I'd never made it before so I gave it a shot and I was so proud of myself, but I wanted to be sure. You know how you can be biased towards your own cooking and get yourself to think it's a lot better than it really is? No? Maybe it's just me then. Anyways so I took 4 slices across the street to my friend Tanya's house (I took 4 because that way her husband and two daughters could all have a slice). Well Tanya loved it so much no one else got any, but that made me feel really good because it meant the bread was actually good and it wasn't just all in my head. She told me to bring more over anytime. So today I brought a little more over, what was left of the first loaf (the recipe made two loaves) and let her know that was gonna be the last of it because half of the second loaf is going to Leomar. She shared this with her family and apparently they liked it a LOT- so I'll have to copy the recipe down for her. I'm soooooo happy that everyone liked it! I fear I shouldn't make it too much because I'd eat it all and it's got a LOT of sugar in it (3 cups of sugar to be exact). This picture pretty much shows exactly how my Pumpkin bread looked, isn't that crazy? Both loaves were picture perfect! I was so proud of myself.
So tomorrow is my first day of doing the pre-natal yoga! I'm pretty stoked for it. It costs only $3 and starts at 9 and ends at 10. So it's also a good excuse to not just lay around in bed until 10:30, and to actually get up and start being active. I'm washing some clothes now to wear to my first session, and probably every session and they're the most practical clothes I have for something like Yoga, I'm not going to wear jeans to yoga or my capri pants (too cold for capris anyhow). But I think it will be a really good session! I've never done Yoga before, so I really don't know what to expect but I hear that it's really good for your body, especially being pregnant where you can get stressed or uncomfortable, Yoga is supposed to help you relax. I'm very excited!
I've been watching a lot of Friends lately as well. I just really enjoy it and it makes the house feel more like home when I get away from the computer and sit down and eat and watch Friends.
My breakfast was pretty weird this morning though. I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I had pumpkin bread, coco puffs, and... a salad. I know it's completely random and the salad is like from left field, but I really wanted a salad for some reason so I made one. I ate my cereal first, then the salad, then my pumpkin bread was like dessert haha. Gods the pumpkin bread was SOOOOOOO good! I can't wait til' Leomar gets his in the mail and tastes it.
Right now Leomar's half loaf is in a tupperware container in the fridge since his next package doesn't go out for another couple of days, and I figure it will stay fresh longer if I keep it in the fridge. I don't really have to worry about the remaining half loaf, I'll finish it off so quickly it doesn't need to sit in the fridge, hehe. YAY!!!! It's been a great weekend! I hope it sets the tone for the rest of my week :)
